PERCENTRANK

Returns the rank of a value in a dataset as a percentage (0 to 1) of the dataset

Syntax

PERCENTRANK(data, value, [significance])

Arguments

Argument	Description	Required
`data`	Array or range of numerical data	Required
`value`	Value whose rank you want to find	Required
`significance`	Number of significant digits for the result (default 3)	Optional

Examples

Rank at 50th percentile

=PERCENTRANK(A1:A5, 3)

Result ⇒ 0.5

Interpolated rank between values

=PERCENTRANK(A1:A5, 2.5)

Result ⇒ 0.375

With custom significance
