Returns the minutes of a time value

Syntax

MINUTE(serial_number)

Arguments

Argument	Description	Required
`serial_number`	The time that contains the minutes you want to find	Required

Examples

Extract minutes from decimal time

=MINUTE(0.75)

Result ⇒ 0

Get minutes from time string

=MINUTE("2:30:45")

Result ⇒ 30

Minutes from cell time value

=MINUTE(A1)

Result ⇒ 25

WORKDAY - Returns the date that is the specified number of working days before or after the start date.
YEAR - Returns the year from a date value.
YEARFRAC - Calculates the fraction of the year represented by the number of whole days between two dates
