Returns the day of the week as a text string

Syntax

DAYOFWEEK(date, [format])

Arguments

Argument	Description	Required
date	The date value for which you want the day of the week	Required
format	Format: 1=Full (Monday), 2=Abbreviated (Mon), 3=Letter (M)	Optional
